Sculptural softness, distilled to its purest form. A full wraparound shell of pale silver-grey leather folds and twists around itself like a flower bud caught one breath before opening — three organic lobes of leather meeting at a central seam that runs from the base up through the back, giving the whole form a sense of gentle torsion, of something slowly turning. The interior is deep and enveloping, the exterior smooth and composed. Four slender dark gunmetal legs splay outward at confident angles, fine enough to disappear beneath the shell and let the upholstery do all the talking. Beside a rippled metallic dining table on cool grey concrete floors, this chair looks like it arrived from a different vocabulary of design entirely — and made everything around it more interesting for it.
